Petron defeats B-Meg, 97-92

Even if it was non-bearing game for the Llamados, B-Meg played well but still fell short as they close the PBA Governors Cup and the PBA 36th Season with a loss to Petron, 97-92. After winning their 1st game in the semifinals against Rain or Shine, B-Meg lost 4 straight games with 3 games by double-digits.

Five players scored in double figures for B-Meg led by James Yap with 23 points and Joe Devance with 18 points…

Alaska defeats B-Meg, 105-86

Alaska stays alive while B-Meg loses its 3rd straight game in the current PBA Governors Cup Semifinals. Alaska Import Jason Forte led the Aces with 42 points and 17 rebounds against only 5 points from B-Meg Import Myron Allen who was benched by Coach Jorge Gallent midway in the third quarter and the fourth quarter.

The Talk N Text Tropang Texters are a few more wins away from a rare grand slam as they defeated the B-Meg Llamados, 101-89. The Llamados who suffered their second straight loss is now out of the race to the finals with a 5 win and 6 loss record with 2 games left.

TNT import Scottie Reynolds waxed hot with 37 points compared to only 12 points by Myron Allen. James Yap led B-Meg with 18 points…

Ginebra defeats B-Meg, 99-79

The B-Meg Llamados led by James Yap (11 points in the opening quarter) controlled the 1st quarter but it was downhill from there as they lose by 20 points to the Barangay Ginebra Kings in the PBA Governors Cup Round Robin Semifinals. Mark Caguiao led Ginebra with 33 points.

Ginebra import Donald Sloan (26 points) outplayed B-Meg import Myron Allen who was ineffective for most of the game with only 17 points…

B-Meg defeats Rain or Shine, 99-98

Rain or Shine led by as much as 17 points in the 3rd quarter but the B-Meg Llamados came back in the 2nd half to start the semifinal round with a big come from behind win, 99-98. 5 players scored in double figures for the Llamados led by James Yap with 23 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.

ROS import Arizona Reid won his match with new B-Meg import Myron Allen, with Reid scoring 41 points but missed a crucial jumper at the end of the 4th quarter. Myron Allen scored 18 points while contributing 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in his PBA debut.

B-Meg defeats Air 21, 111-89

Darnell Hinson led B-Meg in the next round by scoring 31 points (10/20 from the field) along with 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in his farewell game for the Llamados. Hinson will fly back to the US to attend a hearing custody of his daughter and B-Meg has already scouted a replacement just in case Hinson won’t be back for the PBA Governors Cup semifinals.

Joe Devance was named Best Player of the Game with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks in his 8th game for the Llamados…

The Barangay Ginebra Kings won for the 2nd straight time without an import, this time beating the B-Meg Llamados, 89-85. 5 players scored in double figures for Ginebra led by Ronald Tubid with 20 points and 6 rebounds.

B-Meg import Darnell Hinson bounced back from a 5-point performance the last game scoring 21 points and also contributed 9 rebounds and 5 assists but it was not enough to keep B-Meg from losing its second straight game and slid down the standings in the current PBA Governors Cup
