Magnolia beat Alaska for their 5th straight win

Magnolia Hotshots won their 5th straight game in the 2018 PBA Governors Cup as they defeated the Alaska Aces, 83-73. Import Romeo Travis scored 19 points against his former team.

Jio Jalalon played well again with 18 points and 9 rebounds and was named Best Player of the Game.
The Cyclone had a triple-double in their previous game against Blackwater.

Paul Lee with 14 points while Mark Barroca contributed 12.

Magnolia now with a 7-1 record.
