Magnolia beat NLEX by 30pts to start Governors Cup

Magnolia Hotshots with a great start in the 2018 PBA Governors Cup as they beat NLEX Road Warriors, 102-72. Import Romeo Travis led Magnolia with 21 points. Mark Barroca was named Best Player with 13 points and 6 rebounds.

Hotshots dominated NLEX right from the start leading, 31-12 at the end of the 1st quarter. Magnolia handed NLEX their 1st loss this conference after a 2-0 start.

Peter June Simon scored 12 points while Bambam Gamalinda and Rome Dela Rosa with 10 points each.

Paul Lee missed the game since he is on Gilas duty in the 2018 Asian Games.
