Magnolia takes Game 1 of the PBA Finals against Alaska

Magnolia Hotshots defeated Alaska Aces, 100-84 in Game 1 of the 2018 PBA Governors Cup Finals. Romeo Travis led Magnolia with 29 points and 13 rebounds while Mark Barroca led the locals with 16 points and also with 2 rebounds and 3 assists.

Paul Lee scored 14 points while Ian Sangalang with 10. Mike Harris led Alaska with 20 points. Jio Jalalon with an all-around performance – 7 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists.

Hotshots led since the start of the game on a 15-0 run and dominated Alaska in Game 1, Magnolia led by 10 at the end of the 1st quarter and 12 at the half. Highest lead by Magnolia was 21 points.
