The other Yap leads Purefoods TJ Giants to a win vs the Ginebra Gin Kings, 89-81, Roger Yap contributed 21 points to get back at Ginebra who beat Purefoods in the first round. This is the 3rd straight win for Purefoods who are now tied with Talk N Text and Ginebra for 3rd place with 7 wins and 4 losses.

Kerby Raymundo missed his second game due to an injury, Peter June Simon scored 14 points while James Yap scored 13 but it was Rafi Reavis and Marc Pingris who made clutch baskets in the final minutes for Purefoods.
