B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados vs Rain or Shine Elasto Painters
Rain or Shine defeats Derby Ace 95-94
The B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados had a chance to win the game but Nino Canaleta missed a three-point shot and Derby Ace import Robert Brown could not attempt a last shot in the dying seconds (from an angle, he may have been fouled but no foul was called) as B-Meg loses its 1st game and Rain or Shine winning its 1st game under coach Yeng Guiao.
Robert Brown led Derby Ace with 19 points but missed a crucial free throw that should have tied the game at 95. He may be replaced by Shamari Spears in their next game. James Yap and Peter June Simon each scored 14 points but was tightly guarded in the closing seconds and neither attempted a shot.
