Star Hotshots lost to Ginebra in OT

Star Hotshots had lots of chances to win the game by eventually lost to Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in overtime, 105-101. Import Malcolm Hill led Star with 28 points including 3 free throws to force OT.

Paul Lee played well and finished with 22 points despite being in foul trouble in the 1st half. Mark Barroca scored 14 points while Aldrech Ramos contributed 11.

Ian Sangalang and Rafi Reavis scored 10 points each. Peter June Simon and Marc Pingris were scoreless. Manila Clasico gate attendance was more than 15,000 held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in the 2017 PBA Governors Cup.

Justin Brownlee led Ginebra with 33 points while Joe Devance and Greg Slaughter with 17 points each. This was the 2nd straight loss of Star Hotshots after starting the conference on a 4-game winning streak.
