Magnolia Hotshots beat NLEX led by new import Chism

Hotshots new import Wayne Chism with 27 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals against his former Coach Yeng Guiao as Magnolia beat NLEX Road Warriors, 116-89 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Paul Lee was named Best Player with 21 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists as they improved their record to 5-5 in the 2018 PBA Commissioners Cup.

Mark Barroca with 15 points while Aldrech Ramos contributed 11. Jio Jalalon and Rodney Brondial with 10 points each. Ian Sangalang was also back in action and finished with 9 points.

NLEX finished the conference with a 2-9 record and is not eliminated. Next game of Magnolia will be against SMB on July 7, a must win to formalize their entry in the playoffs.
