B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados vs Rain or Shine Elasto Painters
Rain or Shine defeats Derby Ace 95-94
The B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados had a chance to win the game but Nino Canaleta missed a three-point shot and Derby Ace import Robert Brown could not attempt a last shot in the dying seconds (from an angle, he may have been fouled but no foul was called) as B-Meg loses its 1st game and Rain or Shine winning its 1st game under coach Yeng Guiao…
B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados will face Rain or Shine with their new coach, Yeng Guaio and minus JR Reyes and Sol Mercado who was traded to different teams. Game time will be at 7:30pm at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Although new Import Shamari Spears has passed the height limit, B-Meg will use Robert Brown in the game tonight and will keep Spears as a replacement if Brown does not play well tonight.

“Tony is an athletic small forward, whose versatility could see him spend time at the shooting guard or the power forward position . Is a proven scorer at every level he has played and has shown a real knack for filling it up. He sees the floor extremely well and can find open teammates when he draws a double team,…which is always! Possess good shooting touch and has shown that he can hit the long ball with consistency. He does not rely solely on his outside shot and is a player with great ability to slash to the basket and finish with authority. Solid on defense he moves well and doesn’t gamble. He is far above average with his rebounding ability and has led his team in that category from both the back and front courts! Tony has the ability to lift the play of his entire team and with him on the floor good things will happen.”

Derby Ace Import Lorrenzo Wade has been placed in the injured list and will be replaced by Clif Brown in their next game vs San Miguel this Sunday, May 2 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium. While Kerby Raymundo is still sidelined by a knee injury, the need for a post-up player prompted Derby Ace coaching staff to look for a temporary or permanent replacement for Lorrenzo Wade, who most of the time plays small forward for Derby Ace.
